Before the scope

The agenda starts from where the company is

No two vCISO programs are the same. The first month is spent understanding what the company has to prove, to whom and by when.

Regulator or legal obligation
Institutions supervised by the Brazilian Central Bank (BCB), companies regulated by ANEEL or Anatel, and any company subject to the LGPD. The priority is meeting what the rule requires, with documents and reports in the format supervisors expect.
Certification or contract
When ISO 27001, SOC 2 or a large contract has a date attached, the roadmap is built backwards from the audit.
Building the function
